Safari Shape Match Game for Kids
No matter what time of the year it is you can most definitely use cute and simple games for kids. That’s why I love to share these on Thrifty Mommas Tips. Plus, the games, printable word searches, colouring sheets and activities that I share here for you are always free. Today, I have a safari shape match game for you to share with your kids.
This is my way of giving back to you, my readers who are super loyal and thrifty like me. Hope your kids love it.
The Safari Shape Match Game is geared towards young children who are learning their shapes. So, basically younger children, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten age. BY the way, I also have this amazing Sight Word Booklet that will help your young learners as they discover words and figure out how to read.
When I was small, I loved doing all manner of crafts and worksheets. They kept me occupied and busy, even after I learned to read. In fact, something like this would have been exactly the kind of thing that got me through an afternoon without TV.
Check out these Crayola pencil crayons to use when doing any of my colouring activities. They are our favourites.
Here’s what to expect when using this cute shape match game.
There are five pages. You can print each of these sheets out on card stock. They are colourful already so use plain white card stock if you have it handy. Gather up some scissors and a glue stock and supervise your little one as they cut the shapes out and then figure out where each one fits.
This task reinforces shapes and hand eye coordination too. Scissor skills always help with fine motor coordination, so there’s also that piece to help your kids grow and learn.
