Author Bio
Gabrielle Vincent, the pseudonymn of Monique Martin, was born in Brussels in 1928. She was a talented painter who began her career working primarily in black and white mediums such as ink, charcoal and pencil. In the 60s she shifted to colour and water colours, pastels and oils. She was best known for her Ernest et Celestine series.
