Summery Watermelon Raspberry Slushie Recipe

Watermelon Raspberry Slushie Recipe

What could be more summery and refreshing than a watermelon slushies recipe? Well, maybe a watermelon raspberry slushie, right?

Everyone loves watermelon. But the thing about watermelon is that sometimes those massive melons ripen so fast there’s not enough time to eat them by the slice. Same can be said for raspberries. We always have some in the container that turn to jam before we can eat them. So what’s a smart shopper to do? Well, take the rest of the melon before it goes to waste and chop it up to use as a refreshing crowd-pleasing beverage, like watermelon slushies. Use your raspberries too. The combination is unique and pleasant, plus watermelon raspberry slushie drinks are much better for you than the syrupy slushies sold at the corner store.

We have been picking up Watermelons at our farmers market this summer. They have been amazing to eat in the heat. I never thought to make them into a slushie this sounds delicious and love the idea of adding raspberries.

I always do the watermelon lemonade never tried the raspberry very different. I love drinks like these in the summer not only are they refreshing but you can have them as a snack and the kids love them too.

That looks so refreshing and delicious. I always make watermelon slushy for my family, but I’ve never tried combining it with berries. I will definitely try this. I didn’t know that freezing the fruits first would give it a nice icy blend.

My son loves drinking sly shoes, especially on these hot summer afternoons. I’ll definitely be making this with him.

My kiddos would love this, however I’d have to make this while they were sleeping. They seriously eat watermelon like it’s the last watermelon on the planet. Although, I’m not complaining, it’s a good way to keep them hydrated during the summer when they are busy running around.

Watermelon seems all the rage these days. I just cannot get used to the taste in drink format. Guess it is just not for me. However, my husband and son seem to like it. Maybe I will make them a watermelon slushie.

Frozen watermelon is SUCH an awesome treat that I would love to try to make a slushie out of it. I haven’t mixed raspberries and watermelons before, but it looks like a yummy combination. Perhaps even a smoothie! I will have to give this a try and blend it up!

I have been jonsing for watermelon for the past week, and now I see this. I love the consistency of this fruit slushie that you made. I cannot believe I don’t have a watermelon in my kitchen right now – I’d definitely make this.
