Bring on The Sun, Summer Fun Awaits!
Summer fun is right around the corner. The sun is out, the temperatures are finally where they should be. It’s time to get out and enjoy the warmer months. I am a July baby. So is my oldest daughter. We seem to come by our love of summer naturally. It’s a happy, calm sort of season that breeds a feeling of contentment. We love to take road trips and hit the beach when the weather turns warm. And we have a pool, so as soon as the pool opens we are in summer fun mode. Pool parties, beaches and family travel are some of my favourite things. But every single…

Launching an Affordable Retirement Lifestyle at the Beach – #ParkbridgeLife ad
Ever wonder if an affordable retirement lifestyle is a myth? Might be closer than you think actually. I like to think we know Wasaga Beach and Parkbridge properties pretty well. My family and I stay there every single year. In fact, sometimes twice a year. Lakes of Wasaga Cottage and RV Resort is one of our personal favourites. This past week we had the chance to go stay in a yurt for several days at Wasaga Pines. Wasaga Beach is one of my…

As a beach lover, I decided to bring my readers my top beach hacks to make any day at the beach better. Beach Hacks to Save Your Stuff and Your Sanity So what is the purpose of these hacks?…

The Beach #WordlessWednesday linky
Every summer we travel to the beach with kids. Most summer vacations mean that we all get together and meet up with cousins in Georgian Bay, Ontario’s cottage country. It’s not possible every single year but it is something we enjoy doing as often as we are able. The beach is a happy relaxed place where we can always connect with family and just chill. Last week we went to the beach with my bother-in-law and sister-in-law. The highlight of that type of break is always all about seeing the cousins play together. This year there was swimming, but as they grow there is also a fair bit of independent…
