Your New Favourite Outdoor Adventures Destination
What’s one of your favourite outdoor adventures? Recently we discovered a spot that wowed us with lush Carolinian forests, nearby beaches, darkest of skies, and thrilling outdoor activities all day long. You might be surprised to discover it’s closer than you realized. Right before school returned I decided to take the girls somewhere fun. Little did I know when I started browsing Glamping Hub that I would find my new favourite outdoor adventures destination this close to home at Long Point Eco Adventures near Turkey Point in nearby Norfolk County, Ontario. The possibility of zip lining and axe throwing, spotting stars late at night and staying in a wilderness safari…

41 Amazing Things To Do in Norfolk County Now
Who knew that Norfolk County was a destination full of potential adventures so close to home? I certainly had no idea when I booked a quick trip to visit Long Point Eco Adventures this summer. In fact, I originally pictured a few fun activities and some relaxing at the beach. What we ended up with was so much more. This summer, right before school went back, I decided to take my girls on a quick trip somewhere in Ontario. We looked at a few options and also checked Glamping Hub for ideas. (my guilty pleasure) Then we landed on Long Point Eco Adventures and decided we’d give glamping a try.…

Mountain Getaways with Style and Glamping Hub
Mountain getaways are so romantic to me. There’s something about the idea of spending time away in a mountain retreat that I find so appealing. Wood walls. fireplaces, the wilderness surrounding the cabin – it’s so beautiful and heartwarming and peaceful. That being said, I want to enjoy those mountain getaways in style. I love cabins, but I’m not looking for something TOO rustic. Right now, with Valentine’s Day coming up fast I have been browsing all the great ideas for getaways on Glamping Hub. Glamping Hub offers mountain getaways that make excellent Valentine’s Day ideas. Mountain Getaways Don’t Have to Mean Roughing It My idea of roughing it is…

Yurt Life at Wasaga Pines – Comfortable Camping
Yurt life is a hit! Let me explain. To start you should know that I have always said I would never camp. Not a camper, I told my girls. We travel, cruise, stay in cottages, and love that life. But sleeping on the ground in a tent is not for me. But, that said, there are so many different ways to access camping or glamping now that you really need never sleep on the ground in a tent to get all the benefits of camping. This past week we had the chance to go stay in a yurt for several days at Wasaga Pines. Wasaga Beach is one of my…

It’s Time to RSVP For The #ParkbridgeLife Twitter Party April 15 at 8 p.m. EST #travel
It was a rainy afternoon in August and our second day at Parkbridge Resorts, Lakes of Wasaga. We were there for three nights as guests. The kids had a friend with them and I was wrestling with the urge to tell them all to get off their Nintendos when I heard my youngest daughter holler: “There’s something over there by the lake.” All three children threw their sandals on and they ambled towards the lake. That weekend we had already spied dozens of groundhogs, we’d been swimming multiple times, made our own fishing poles of twine and branches, spied many fish, played some board games, been mini golfing and picked…
