How to Find Makeup for Sensitive Skin

October 1, 2018 / Comments Off on How to Find Makeup for Sensitive Skin

Do you have sensitive skin? Me too sometimes. My younger daughter is the same actually but she’s prone to itching and feeling the impact of harsh fragrance first. Recently I bought a night cream that seemed excellent and was super moisturizing. But it actually made my skin break out. So I stopped using it and gave my skin a break. Then I tried it again. Sure enough I broke out immediately again. When you are an entrepreneur running your own business and brand that’s completely not cool. And together with my daughter we have many stories like that. Sometimes I absorb the loss and don’t use a product again but…

Take Care of Yourself, So You Can Take Care of Others

    December 13, 2017 / 29 Comments

From the moment they arrive, your kids become your number-one priority. We all know it, and there’s nothing wrong with that — but it sometimes causes you to neglect yourself. Here’s the thing: Taking a break and treating yourself is absolutely necessary for a healthy body and mind. Moms need to remember to take care of themselves — and yes, sometimes even spoil themselves — so they can properly take care of their children. BOTOX COSMETIC® treatments here in London, Ontario (or another treatment at the medical spa) are sometimes all the R&R you need to look and feel rejuvenated. And by the way, you deserve it. Why Your Skin…

Protecting Skin in a New Way with Skindinavia

March 16, 2017 / Comments Off on Protecting Skin in a New Way with Skindinavia

Protecting skin is generally associated with blocking UV rays and moisturizing, but there’s one thing many women do almost every day that is hard on our skin. We wear makeup. To me makeup is a part of most days, but it’s also not the best for your skin. Now Skindinavia has a product that is great at protecting skin and helping it recover from makeup use. Protecting Skin from the Daily Routine If makeup suddenly fell out of fashion tomorrow would you care? I might actually. I tend to be pale without it and that’s not a great look for me. This year I have less and less time for makeup. It’s a total…

Healthy Hair and Skin with Aynara Pure Organic Argan Oil #AynaraBeauty

    October 5, 2016 / 49 Comments

Healthy hair and skin is something we’re all after. It’s a constant game of choosing healthy foods, the best shampoos and conditioners, and the cremes we think will do the best job of keeping our skin hydrated and soft. There’s a new weapon that I’ve found for healthy hair and skin, and it’s Aynara Pure Organic Argan Oil. Healthy Hair and Skin with One Product I have used a different version of this product in the past on my hair, and it’s an excellent weapon against frizz. It’s also excellent to keep any hair hydrated and healthy. So, I was curious to see if Aynara was as effective on my…

    August 11, 2016 / 25 Comments

Natural itch relief is something that’s always in high demand this time of year. Summer is prime season for flying beasts that bite and sting. They’re out there, waiting to feast on your blood or give you a painful sting if you accidentally make them feel threatened. You can try to avoid this uncomfortable part of summer, but chances are, you’re going to get tagged. So with that in mind, here are some natural itch relief methods that really work. Natural Itch Relief – 6 Ways to Ease the Itching and Burning Recently I returned from a travel writer trip, followed by a weekend at camp and my legs were covered…

    Philosophy Miracle Worker Review

    December 27, 2013 / 5 Comments

Funny thing, but after forty, your skin care needs change drastically. Women’s skin care products like Philosophy – Miracle Worker Miraculous Anti-Aging Moisturizer 56g/2oz are formulated to boost skin that is showing signs of aging and wear and tear. I lusted after, but had never used this product until I attended Blissdom Canada in the fall in Mississauga. Philosophy was one of the sponsors at the blogging event and, as such, they were handing out samples and chatting up bloggers in their restful lounge. After a skin care consultation, it was determined I needed this line: Miracle Worker. I tried not to take that personally. LOL. Philosophy – Miracle Worker…

Murad Women’s Skin Care Products Review

    September 15, 2013 / 6 Comments

I received Murad Women’s Skin Care product for consideration here. My opinion is all my own. Post may also contain affiliate links as a service to readers. Forty is a fantastic decade and yet slightly ironic at the same time. Just as you hit your groove with kids, career and finances, well there goes your metabolism and by the way your skin starts to be let’s just say, less resilient. Luckily, there are products that help. And these days as the middle aged blip begins to grow ever so steadily, piggy backing right behind the Baby Boomers, well brands simply have to establish products that make sense for your 30s…
