What could be more worthy of celebrating than love? Lately I’ve been thinking about love. There’s love for your husband or wife, significant other; love of your children, your family, parents, and friends. Love of yourself matters too.
There are so many different kinds of love, but ultimately love is the thing that motivates us every day. We search for it, and sometimes we let it slip through our fingers, but on Valentine’s Day the best thing to do is celebrate it.
This year I have some adorable Valentine treasures to share with my family and friends. Hallmark has the cutest ideas for gifting to all your loves this year too.
Some fun facts about Valentine’s Day ♡
Approximately 145 million Valentine’s Day cards are exchanged industry-wide (not including packaged kids’ valentines for classroom exchanges), making Valentine’s Day the second-largest holiday for giving greetings cards.
In addition to the United States, Valentine’s Day is celebrated in Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France Australia, Denmark and Italy.
Hallmark first offered Valentine’s Day cards in 1913 and began producing them in 1916.
According to the National Retail Federation, the average person celebrating Valentine’s Day spent $143 (US) in 2018.

The Story of Us Card Keeper will be showcased in an upcoming Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, The Story of Us, on the W Network! Check your local listings! I know I will be watching. Over the Christmas holidays I became addicted to these sweet stories.
Of course there are so many assorted Valentine’s Day cards including Kids, Signature and Paper Wonder, some of which are available at Walmart.
Don’t forget the Valentine’s Gift Bags and coordinating tissue. The gift bags are always top of the line pretty and frankly they make me look good and thoughtful as the gift giver attending to all the details.
