Cooking With Kids Series #Linky and Quiche Recipe
Cooking With Kids is my regular series in which I am in the kitchen with (you guessed it!) my kids. So what are we making this week? Oh my heavens, we made the most delicious quiche with a little help from Tenderflake pie shells. I love those gorgeous and yummy pie shells. They cut down on my frustration. I haven’t made quiche since I was a 12 year old or so. It was a big hit then and it was a big hit this week too. So here it is:
Start with Tenderflake pie shells
In a mixing bowl add:
4 eggs
1 cup shredded cheese. we mixed cheddar and mozzarella.
1/3 cup of milk.
Mayonnaise 1/3 cup
1/4 of a zucchini thinly sliced and skinned
chopped ham or diced ham 1/3 cup
Put the toppings in the shell. Zucchini and ham on bottom, then cheddar.
Stir the liquid items together and beat gently.
Pour liquid over top of the ham and vegetables. (you can add others here, maybe even bacon)
Bake about 45 minutes at 375 degrees.
No go ahead and link up your children’s foodie recipes, or old posts too.

Quiche is one of my favorites. I only made it once a few months ago. Should give this one a try. Thanks for sharing!

No you can’t taste the zucchini. Plus you can skip that part if they hate zucchini. Mine like it.
