Halloween sure brings out the child in all of us. I never really used to get this excited about hanging a few Halloween decorations up. But having children delight in seeing the decorations and even watching them get spooked for a second, is a hoot! Not all Halloween fun though has to be related to candy or spooky costumes and decorations. This year I have a super sweet Halloween cats colouring book just for you.
This time of year I enjoy decorating the house and making it look a little bit like a haunted house. I don’t go overboard, but like the small things. Decorating the mantel over the fireplace makes me happy. Doing word searches together – sometimes racing the kids to see who finds all the words first – that makes me happy.
When I used to babysit I realized the power of colouring books. Colouring can be a super calming activity. I used to find that kids would open up and chat as they were shading flowers or characters and choosing the colours that made sense for them. That was a useful ice breaker often.
Now even adults know that colouring can be a great way to ease anxiety and relax a bit. Whether you colour this nine page colouring book yourself, or want to share it with the kids, I am happy to share.
There are nine pages of cute cats for the kids to colour this year. Print out as little or as many pages as you wish. I am happy to see any of my readers enjoying my printables, but please don’t copy these and reprint as your own. That is copyright theft. Sad that I even have to add that in here but last year I had dozens of my free printables stolen by a scraper site or two. Thanks for reading and have fun!
Happy Halloween! Don’t forget to check out all my other seasonal free printables on Pinterest.
