L’Oreal Youth Code Review

style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
L’Oreal Canada is one of my go to cosmetic companies for affordable, gentle and quality products. Their facial products work well for my dry and sensitive skin. From time to time I have also used L’Oreal products and the Procalcium moisturizer has been useful for me in the last year or so, as my skin has started to show signs of aging and the stress of life, the environment and the job of being a parent. About one month ago I read on Facebook about this new system Youth Code by L’Oreal. I applied to test it out and was sent this trio of products. Now I have to state upfront that the name was a huge draw. Every woman wants to unlock the secret of youth. I trust L’Oreal – hair and skin products -and I really liked the jazzy youth code hint of younger skin. So I began with the system and immediately saw results with the eye cream. That is extremely unusual. The formulation made my eyes appear less droopy and tired and it made the skin around my eye feel refreshed. Bags under eyes seemed to disappear. And they were getting pretty big after a really hideous dry winter season and a nasty cold/flu bug that went through our family. I was hooked. The eye cream alone is a fantastic product that I will purchase again, because the results for me were dramatic. I wasn’t crazy over the applicator tip at first, but I have come to like it. Once the tip is lubricated the effect of the silver metallic applicator is cooling on the eye area. The tip doesn’t swivel like some do, and at first I was expecting that. But this is a creamy product and not a gel so I imagine that the roller ball type applicator wouldn’t work as well due to the thickness of the cream. The trio of products also comes with a Youth Code day lotion – which I found to be very light and gentle – similar to the Procalcium products I am used to, but without the hint of foundation that is in Procalcium. It is a nice light product and I liked having the option of the untinted moisturizer. As well it contains SPF of 30. Hurray! In this current day and age I don’t understand why every moisturizer doesn’t contain the protection from the sun. The third part of the system is the day/night cream, which is a bit thicker than the day lotion and repairs and restores skin at night. Now all three of these products, with GenActive technology worked together nicely to brighten my skin. I adore products that help keep skin blemish free and radiant. I don’t know what magical ingredient makes this happen, but I can certainly see the difference. It’s night and day for some products. Some can leave your skin looking dull and matted. Others can leave skin so greasy that it looks cheap and makeup doesn’t sit right. Well these products have the right balance. The right overall look begins with flawless skin. This is one of the best systems I have found to date and I am thrilled to be able to tell others about it. None of the products is priced over $30 individually. I have already seen them in stores at Shoppers Drug Mart. And they should be available at most other major retailers.
I received a youth code system for free to test. The opinions on my blog are all my own.
I give this system $$$$$ out of $$$$$.
The price is right. All three items were fabulous. The eye cream alone is remarkable.
