Pumpkin Treats Almost Too Good To Share

I was an adult before I grew into my love for all things pumpkin. As a kid, pumpkin never appealed to me as a food, or a flavour. It was fun to carve and sometimes a treat to make pumpkin crafts, but I would never have eaten pumpkin treats. Adulthood has some benefits and thankfully tastebuds mature sometimes. Even if you all like different things in your family, that’s okay, because some things are too good to be shared – like these pumpkin treats

This roundup of beautiful pumpkin treats knocks my socks off. I probably wouldn’t have thought to put together Cranberries and Pumpkin. But these cranberry pumpkin muffins from Seasonal Family Fun are delicious and so good with a tea or coffee curled up reading a novel in your favourite armchair. In fact that’s one my kids would fight me for, I think.

And this next one Caramel Frosted Pumpkin Bars caught my eye immediately. I mean Caramel is my jam, as you all know by now. And Caramel and Pumpkin go together perfectly. These would be gobbled up so fast here I can’t even tell you.

These are from Frugal Family Home and they are clearly screaming make me now. I love this frosting. It is light and truly a great complement to the cake portion of the sumptuous pumpkin treat. This is one of my new favourite pumpkin treats, without question.

These will vanish too fast if you share them. So make a double batch and keep some back just for you. You know you deserve it.
