We had a PD day here last week so it was the perfect time to unbox our brand new Breville No Mess Waffle Maker and put it to the test. I mean you can’t have waffles just any day of the week. They are a special breakfast or brunch treat. So you simply must have a brilliant occasion to indulge. Waffles are perfect for a  weekend, for instance, or a PD Day. A birthday or Mother’s Day. Homemade waffles make me feel a bit like I am on a luxurious vacation. One of my favourite things about family travel to all inclusive resorts is the breakfast spread. There’s almost always a make your own waffle station. When I see that on my first morning at a resort, I know I am going to enjoy my vacation meals. I remember one resort outside Orlando that was entirely unremarkable, but for the breakfast station with several waffle makers and the water slide at the pool. Now we don’t need to wait for vacations to have waffles. Neither do you.
