Happy Monday back at you!! Sound I love is the ocean! My kids laughter and the ocean is the BEST sound. 😉 Smell I hate damp or moldy anything. I would love to learn how to search my family tree!
Love this feature and it’s so wonderful seeing the master behind the blog live in video. I’m way too shy for video, but you never know – someday I might just go for it!
I’m super sensitive to sound and scents. I also love the sound of kids’ laughter, but my absolute favourite sound is a toss-up between the wind (LOVE the sound of the trees dancing!) and the ocean. I don’t get to hear the ocean very often, though. As for scents, my ultimate favourite is the smell of sweet grass. It brings back so many wonderful memories and I just can’t get enough of it. Oh wait… this was supposed to be scents I DON’T like, isn’t it? Stinky feet are up there, as are artificially (and overtly) fragranced laundry detergents. Tar and various construction sounds/smells I find very unpleasant. Falling or trickling water is a wonderful sound. I’m all over the map here! 😉
I am also a fairly anxious swimmer and am trying to improve. I spent years in lessons as a kid, but it was not a very positive experience. Constant ear infections did not help. Thankfully I have two close friends with pools so I’m sure they’ll be sick of me by the time summer’s over! I spent 50% of my education from kindergarten to university in french immersion, but because I don’t use it very often I’m not very confident and tend not to speak it unless I have to. That’s something I would love to work on improving. It would be wonderful being able to comfortably speak french.
Wow, who knew I had so much to say today?! I’m very happy to have discovered your blog and I am so drawn to your writing voice. Another thing I’d love to develop more – a clearer, more at-ease writing voice.
Alright, I’d better skedaddle before I fill up your entire blog post here. It’s great to meet you; my name’s Rae and in the past month I’ve moved from my blogger site to WordPress, but somehow it’s just easier to keep commenting with GFC, so hope that’s not too confusing.
Happy Monday!! I love the sound of my kids laughter as well and hate the smell of manure and ginger! Like Shannon, I would also love to search my family tree and how to knit 🙂
I’m CRAZY!? Can’t see myself ever doing a vlog (never say never).
I totally agree, cat litter stinks. So do cooking brussel sprouts and hot dogs (just barfed in my mouth). I will never be cooking hot dogs for my kids (I can confidently state NEVER).
When we hang out for our coffee, we can talk Spanish. I love languages (although only know some questionable phrases).

Love the idea of Monday vlog posts! I haven’t done any vlogs and keep meaning to. Just never get around to it. Hopefully soon 🙂

You are so brave. Vlogs make me scared. I hate seeing myself.

I’m so envious of you! I keep planning out all these vlog ideas but always back out due to nerves…. I think you’ve inspired me to just do it!
