#WordlessWednesday Walking Paths #ldnont
There are many trails throughout London. This is one over by my new house. We move next month. I can’t wait to explore some more of the natural outdoor space in that area in the years to come. This is a Wordless Wednesday post. Many of us link up and post pictures on Wednesdays.

Banish the Eczema Itch Now
I haven’t itched all week. Why should you care? Well, if you are like me, you either have some experience with mild eczema, or you have a family member with that persistent itchy skin that won’t seem to go away. Did you know 20 % of the population will experience eczema? Did you know there are several different types of this skin condition which can be red scaly patches on your skin that end up cracking, rashing, or even oozing liquid? One common type is cradle cap. Another is contact dermatitis, which is often brought on by excessive handwashing. But ever since we started using Polysporin Eczema Essentials we have…

Win a D-Link Wi-fi Baby Camera #giveaway ARV $180
When it comes to those first months with baby, safety is such an overarching concern that it can be entirely all consuming. You want to be sure that you are doing right by your precious new little one. You handle them gently, getting to know exactly how to cradle them into your body. How to read each cry, each sound and gesture. You put them down to sleep or down for a nap and you worry. When you can’t see them you listen for every little whimper, for the rhythmic rise and fall of their breathing. Almost a decade later I can still remember the days with my babies when…

My #FinishPowerAndFree Experience and a Freebie
There are some brands I am diehard committed to. Tres Semme hairspray, Sunlight liquid dish soap, Tommy Hilfiger polo t-shirts, Jelly Belly jelly beans and Finish. These are my tried, trusted and true brands that provide real solutions, or reliable results for my family. They are integrated into my life and my shopping experience. I don’t swap them out for anything, for any reason, ever. They are untouchable. When my darling husband and I were younger, we would always opt for the cheapest shopping experience. We bought a lot of No Name products. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn’t. As soon as we got a dishwasher we cycled through a…

Our #MajestaEZ Science Experiment and Contest
It’s something we all need but don’t give a whole lot of consideration to – toilet paper. MAJESTA and Mom Central Canada dared us to try MAJESTA EZ Flush, more specifically they dared us to give it the shake test, alongside another leading brand. You can see the results when you watch the video featuring my scientist Payton. MAJESTA EZ flush breaks down faster than the other leading brand. We did this test about 3 times and the first time MAJESTA dissolved into bubbles, while the other national brand looked like a mound of feathers all clumpy in the water. The second time the MAJESTA took more shaking but it…

Team Vega 2014 #health
This year I am thrilled to announce that I am again working with Vega as one of their bloggers. I have been using some of their products for the past year. More importantly I have been committed to my own health and fitness plan for an entire year. I know I feel better and can manage the regular business of working, parenting and life in general when I am striving to be fit. Last year I worked out consistently and attended yoga and centergy classes at least 3 times a week. At the start of this year I made it my goal to add weights to my routine and I…

Please Vote: Wego Health Activist Award Nomination
I am not going to say I don’t do this often. But I am going to ask for your help. I advocate here often for issues that are close to my heart: senior’s health, Alzheimer’s research, adoption, child welfare and infertility. WEGO Health I blog often about health and I champion the causes that mean a lot to me because behind every single one of these issues are real live people struggling with health issues. This month I was nominated for a Wego Health Activist Award in the category of Advocating for Another. Please take a moment to endorse me there. WEGO Health Awards There are 14 award…

Kidz Bop 25 – Win Universal Studios Minion Contest
My kids are gigantic Kidz Bop fans, which makes me a Kidz Bop fan. I love the cheerful, familiar, tunes and family friendly lyrics. Right smack dab in the middle of our snow day this week Kidz Bop 25 arrived. We might have cracked that CD open and danced a bit. Maybe. Snow days can be awfully boring especially when they are on the second snow day of the week immediately after a lengthy Christmas holiday. We just finished reviewing Kidz Bop 24 and Kidz Bop Christmas. You can read that review by clicking the link here. Kidz Bop 25 is available January 14th. Kidz…

Disney On Ice at Bud Gardens – Discount Codes #ldnont
Every year, from the time my oldest was 2, we gleefully set aside an afternoon or an evening for Disney On Ice. Not sure who gets more enjoyment out of the amazing ice skaters – myself, or the kids? I wrote about the experience once and how blessed we are to get to see Disney on Ice through our children’s eyes. That first year when I sat beside Miss Payton, aged 2, staring half at her and half at the ice as skaters told the magical story of Cinderella, Simba, and Belle, I caught myself crying. I never knew happy tears existed until I had kids. Now they flow freely…
