Great Graduation Trip Ideas for 8th Graders

Your 8th grader is gearing up for his or her graduation, and that means you might be thinking about a  graduation trip to celebrate. You might be wondering about the best things to do for a graduation trip. Here are a few ideas that I think are great. Some are extravagant, but graduations trips don’t have to be over the top. Know your budget before you travel.

Graduation Trip Ideas Your 8th Grader Will Love

There are a lot of different ways you can approach a graduation trip, and none of them are wrong. It’s really all about your child having a great time and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Staycation

A graduation trip doesn’t have to be a trip at all. You might not think so, but a staycation can be a great option for your middle school graduate. If your child is into video games, get him or her a couple of the games they’ve been drooling over for a while, and let them bask in the glory of video gaming for a few days. You and the rest of the family can even get in on the action and play with your graduate!

A Cruise

If you have the funds, a cruise is a great graduation trip option. A cruise is an all-inclusive floating fun land. Pretty much all cruise ships offer fine dining, game areas, a pool, and more. In addition to that, the day excursions offered are a great way to introduce your graduate to different cultures or experiences and get in some great family bonding at the same time.

A Road Trip

Road trips are another great graduation trip idea. Road trips are a wonderful way to really bond with the family and make lifelong memories. There’s nothing more fun that playing road trip games and stopping to eat at random diners and restaurants. And when you finally get where you’re going, you’ll be able to celebrate your child’s momentous accomplishment and have some great family fun.

Disney World

You just graduated. What are you gonna do next? “I’m going to Disney World!” Disney World is the penultimate graduation trip destination. It’s filled to the brim with all kinds of things to do and see for kids and adults alike. With no shortage of attractions, dining options, and all of Disney’s beloved characters, Disney World is the perfect graduation trip destination to have a blast and make wonderful memories.

Graduation Trips are About Memories – So Make Them

Graduation trips are a great way to take an already incredible accomplishment and make it even more memorable. Whether it’s a staycation or a trip to Disney World, a graduation trip is a great way to say, “I am so proud of you!” You can make lifelong memories and celebrate your child’s amazing accomplishment all at the same time.
