Why Apple Cinnamon?
Apples and Fall go together like peanut butter and jelly. Who doesn’t love Fall apple picking? There’s also something delicious and soothing about the flavours of apples and cinnamon together. Apple cinnamon tea makes one of my favourite treats here: the apple cinnamon tea latte.
Fall Walks and Soothing Teas Go Together
This Fall, we have been taking a lot of walks together as a family. The time together is often awesome and it’s time that I treasure, plus it means we are getting our steps in every day. I say often awesome, because let’s be honest – occasionally kids bicker and that makes me wonder why the heck I asked them to join me. But, for the most part, these walks are ones I love.
What makes a walk even better? Coming home to an apple cinnamon tea latte. That’s a soothing, warm, simple drink to make.
Simplicity is Key
These lattes are so easy to make. Right now, as we are firmly in the fall weather heading towards winter, we are enjoying all of the tea and using my Hamilton Beach milk frother. It is always in use right now.

As soon as the weather slips past Labour Day into chilly nights and quiet afternoons, then you will find me making all of the tea to take that chill off. Tea is a beverage that reminds me of my English grandmother, so it can be a nostalgic beverage for me. My grandma was never without a spot of tea.
Caffeine Free Teas are the Way to Go
When I cut down my caffeine intake, I increased my herbal teas. In fact there’s an entire cupboard here. That makes me happy..being able to choose whichever blend I want and creating new drinks out of the various selections on occasion.
Highly Recommend A Milk Frother
Now that we have a milk frother, I have no idea how I lived without one. These latte recipes are money-savers. Being able to make my own fancy teas and coffees at home saves me money and that makes me happy.
Here are a few milk frothers I love. Some are available in Canada and others are available in the US only.
My Favourite Teas for This Recipe – >
There are three different teas that I love for this recipe. One is Tetley Warmth Apple Cinnamon Spice (which has a little bit of sweetness to it) and the other Tetley Super Herbal Tea Anti-Ox with Turmeric, cinnamon, vitamin C and apple. Finally, I love Celestial Seasonings Apple Cinnamon tea with hits of apple peel. All are caffeine free.
