Sunday Spotlight London and a National Geographic Deal
So much to do today and I can’t choose. Well I missed my deadline for my Friday Finds. But I decided this week I would try something a wee bit different. I don’t want anyone to miss a couple of these amazing deals and events. Today is the Ninth annual Birthday Party for the Children’s Safety Village at Fanshawe Park Conservation Area. It is on now from 12 to 4 p.m. and it is a lot of fun. Head over. Some years they do the trade in your old bicycle helmet for a brand new one. All free of charge! Also today at Stoney Creek branch of the YMCA. A…

A Thursday BlogHop and Life In General
I am posting this bloghop here because it has been awhile and I plan to visit some new friends as a result. I have had a dull day of tedious things that are necessary. My Mom seems to be getting to a stage of life and state of health where it is no longer advisable to have her living off on her own in the city where she taught for 35 years and the place where I grew up. So we need to move her soon and that is not an easy task or one that I even want to do mentally or physically. But the thing is life happens…

Wednesday Love and The Great Canadian Link Exchange
Happy Wednesday. There is so much to love about Wednesday. The first thing I love about Wednesday is my new cynergy class at lunch at the Y on Sunningdale Road and then there is my favourite show on TV. My guilty pleasure – otherwise known as America’s Next Top Model. Oh I know it is really sad, but I love it. Can’t argue with that, can you? My youngest child does riding lessons at SARI on this evening and I love watching. Occasionally I love not going to watch and taking a moment to blog books over at http://www.thriftymommasbrainfood.blogspot.com/ or the New York Journal of Books. Then there is this:…

Lessons Learned By The Props Lady
These are the elaborate props that were used at the Grand Theatre’s Peg and the Yeti recently. I take no credit for these, but their set design was inspiring. I was the Props Lady for my daughter’s last play. My daughter acts and sings with a wonderful London youth theatre organization called Original Kids Theatre Company. They are brilliant and the kids in the troupe are incredibly talented. She has been with them for two years now. You have to be invited to be part of the troupe and yes it is all very prestigious and fun. Did I mention the fun? Anyways this was daughter’s third major play at the Spriet Family…

So let me tell you a bit about www.coloritbynumbers.com This coloring site is available with numerous paint by number pictures for kids aged 3 and up. It is simple to use and fun with catchy music and cute graphics. Kids aged three and up can learn their colors…
