Swig cookies are pretty famous but you can make your own now with this copycat variation on a traditional cookie. You can tell with these ones that they will be soft and delicious as soon as you read the list of ingredients. Sour cream makes things so moist and flavourful sometimes. Looking good so far!…

Little Turkeys Penne With Cheese #GayleaMom
I hate to tell you this. Maybe it’s just my kids. Maybe it’s just my house. But my littles used to eat amazingly well. They were rockstars at vegetables and dinner and lunch. I rarely worried. Then they hit double digits, ten and up, and they developed sudden fussiness. It’s infuriating! I make a great dinner and they say – “Um, could I please just make a peanut butter sandwich?” Or “Too spicy!” My one child exists on peanut butter and pizza. Not together of course. Occasionally I stumble upon a recipe the kids love that keeps us all happy at dinner. This year I have also experimented with a…

My Favourite Buttermilk Biscuits Recipe
Buttermilk biscuits are smooth and so delicious. No holiday meal is complete without these in my opinion. Nothing reminds me of home cooked meals more than Buttermilk Biscuits. My Mom used to make them at holiday time almost every single Christmas. She was a massive bread and biscuit lover. English pudding was her other favourite recipe. I can’t recall a gathering without some kind of scrumptious buns or biscuits actually. This buttermilk biscuits recipe is similar to one she used to make at holiday time every year. Buttermilk makes everything tastier and creamier and melt in your mouth delicious. While you can sometimes snack on these alone you probably shouldn’t do…

These Oriental Gluten Free Beef Lettuce Wraps have been a long time coming to fruition. I have been thinking about lettuce wraps and gluten free wraps for quite some time. Plus they don’t leave me feeling all bloated and sluggish as wraps with gluten do sometimes. Where possible, whenever possible, I enjoy making gluten free meals and snacks. Best Pumpkin Cheesecake Squares
Pumpkin. Cheesecake. Squares. Need I say more? These are so good. Honestly they vanished fast. Easy to make also but squares always require a bit of patience. Stick with it and the taste and the smiles on your guest’s faces will be so worth it that you will want to make them over and over again. The trick here is the layers. I started off with my special soft sugar cookie recipe for the crust. I left out the pumpkin ingredient just for the crust though. You could probably substitute something else for the crust if you wanted. Oreos would work well too and so would any graham crackers. But…
